What if the activity and the favor were the same thing? What if your guests left your party holding something they actually made ...something beautiful, something that lasts?
That's the idea behind the Backbone Floral mobile dried flower bar. I pack up the studio with dried botanicals, pampas grass, preserved blooms, and all the trimmingsย and bring it directly to your event. Guests browse, choose their stems, and build their own arrangement to take home. No experience needed. Just curiosity and good company.
It's one of those things that sounds simple but completely transforms the energy of a gathering. People slow down. They talk to strangers. They get a little proud of what they made. And at the end of the night, they leave with something that won't wilt on the drive home.
Why Dried Flowers?
I've been working with dried botanicals for years, and there's something about them that fresh flowers just can't replicate. They're honest. A dried pampas plume or a preserved strawflower isn't trying to be something it's not โ it's simply, beautifully itself.
They also last. That matters at an event, where you want the memory to stick around longer than the weekend. A dried arrangement on a shelf is a little artifact of a good day. Every time your guest walks past it, they remember your party, your shower, your celebration.
"No wilting. No water. Just something beautiful that lives on your shelf and reminds you of a really good day."
What Events Work Best?
Honestly? Any event where people are gathered and you want to give them something to do with their hands. That said, here are some of my favorites:
- Bridal showers & bachelorette parties
- Baby showers
- Birthday parties (milestone or otherwise)
- Corporate events & brand activations
- Girls' nights & sip-and-create gatherings
- Pop-ups & vendor markets
- Holiday parties
The bar works for intimate groups of 10 and larger events alike. I'll work with you on the setup, the stem selection, and the overall vibe so it feels cohesive with whatever you're celebrating.
What to Expect
I arrive early, set up a beautiful display of dried botanicals โ everything from pampas and bunny tail grass to preserved roses, lunaria, and seasonal stems โ and then step back and let your guests explore. I'm there to guide, suggest pairings, and make sure everyone walks away with something they love.
It's low-pressure, high-delight. The kind of thing people photograph and text their friends about after.
Let's Make Something Together
